Celebrating spring! Look for flowers with this fun scavenger hunt.

I’ve been busy recently, trying to wrap things up on my next picture book (coming in May!). That means spending time working on lots, and lots of spiders.

But, it was time for a change of pace this weekend!

Instead of drawing spiders, I took a brief vacation to explore flowers. They’re in full bloom now, so I created a scavenger hunt and a coloring page to celebrate the spring.

I tried to pick the more common plants. You should find most of them around your neighborhood.

Here’s the scavenger hunt:

And here’s the coloring page: dandelions!

You can download and print a file with both activity pages here. (You’re welcome to save and print these, but only for personal or classroom use.)

  1. I’m off to plan a nature hunt with my little visitors, if they get to visit over Easter. They are off to other Granny and Grandur in Ireland.
We love nature weaving. I have a frame with a wire centre so they can pick up and weave in grasses and flowers along the way.
My grandson loves this; my granddaughter has yet to be introduced.
A hunt of any sort goes down well, that’s for sure

    1. Yes! So many fun activities, and they don’t have to be complicated. <3
