Peanut Butter & Jellyfish? A FREE Coloring Page for Kids

Do you have kids who love sea creatures (or coloring pages)?

I like marine animals too, and I love making coloring pages! Recently, I made this jellyfish coloring page for a new activity book I’m working on:

Plus, it’s more than just a coloring page. It also includes a fun science fact about jellyfish . . .

Did you know that zookeepers once tried to feed jellyfish on peanut butter? The jellies ate it! In the wild, though, jellyfish and peanut butter don’t mix. Instead, most jellies eat larvae, plankton, and other tiny marine animals.

If you want to try it out yourself, you can download it here. There’s also an activity page showing a jelly’s life-cycle!

In my activity book, Shrimp, Shrimp, Cuttlefish, each coloring page is paired with an activity like this. It’s packed with fun science facts, and kids will learn about all kinds of marine invertebrates from jellyfish to mollusks.

If you like this coloring page, you find the activity book on Amazon or in my own store.
