Are you a parent, teacher, or grandparent? This new book is perfect for young nature explorers!
This new book Acorn Party is a counting story set in the Pacific Northwest. But, Acorn Party is more than a simple numbers story. This book teaches kids about sharing, community, and friendship.
Toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten students will love paging through the illustrations as the story builds to a festive event!

About the Book:
One acorn,
Two hazelnuts,
Three pinecones…
But what comes next?
The acorns are ripe—and that means it’s time for a party! In this heartwarming story, children count along as one small, slightly distracted squirrel tries to plan a party.
It looks like things will end in chaos. Can a group of forest friends jump in to save the day?
More Info:
Fun fact–this book took me about half-an-hour to write!
Does that sound nutty? I’d been doodling other ideas, but started wondering about squirrels, acorns, and counting. From there, the book just happened. (Not counting several rounds of revisions, and a couple months for illustrations, of course!)
My last few books have been nonfiction books. It’s been exciting to work on another picture book story, and I’m delighted to share it with you now.
It’s also been fun also to see some of the animals from this story in my own yard. Some of the animals are shyer, but the squirrels scurry across my yard almost daily!

Acorn Party is available now, so be sure to get your copy. You can buy it either on Amazon or in my own shop.
